Rescued Roasters

Coffee for animal people 

Rescued Roasters was started in September 2022 in Milwaukee, WI by a wife and husband team, Brittany and Ben, (with support of their rescue "kids" Pabst and Bourbon). We are a micro roaster that uses only high quality, ethically sourced beans, roast all of our coffee in very small batches to produce the freshest coffee and showcase the flavor and aroma of each bean.  

We started Rescued Roasters with one mission in mind, to combine our passions of high quality coffee and supporting animal rescues. While we have been "animal lovers" our entire lives, we were enlightened to the amazing, passionate, self-less people that run animal rescues when we adopted our first dog, Pabst. She was found abandoned in a dumpster with her litter mates at just 6 weeks old. An amazing rescue pulled her from a high kill shelter and brought her to WI for a chance at a better life. As cliché as it may be, when we adopted Pabst, she instantly became our world. We believe that every dog and cat deserves a loving family. We realize that while we can not rescue every dog and cat (as much as we want to), we can use our platform to raise awareness of all the amazing animal rescues out there that are saving lives every day and giving these dogs and cats the chance to find a loving family they deserve. We have pledged to donate 10% of our profits back to local animal rescues through our Rescue of the Month Program.

Knights Gourmet Popcorn

Knights Gourmet Popcorn, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has been hand crafting popcorn since 1952. While ownership may have changed over the years, we continue the long standing tradition of sourcing the highest quality ingredients and popping and bagging all popcorn by hand to ensure we provide you with the freshest, highest quality gourmet popcorn in the Midwest (and maybe the world)!

So Why Coffee and Popcorn?

While we have been long time fans of quality, fresh popcorn, owning a popcorn store was not in our initial plans. Rescued Roasters started operating out of Knights Gourmet Popcorn in September 2022. As fate would have it, the opportunity to purchase Knights Gourmet Popcorn presented itself and in December 2022, we purchased Knights and the combination of coffee and popcorn was created!
